Cross Stitch Kit "Where the elves live"
Description
“Where the elves live” shows a round green door set into an overgrown hill. Stone steps lead up to it, and everything around is thick with growth.
What the picture shows
The door is in the centre: round, green, made of planks, with a golden round handle in the middle and a matching plate above. The surround is built of uneven stone, and a small window with a frame shows on the left. The hill above the entrance is densely covered with greenery — from light lime to deep emerald — and studded with purple and pink flowers. Stone steps lead up to the door below, with shrubs and grass at the sides. The golden details are worked in metallic thread. The background dissolves into the white fabric, so the hill looks lit from the side. The stones around the door all differ in shape and shade, with mortar seams visible between them. The flowers on the hill are laid as small specks in several layers, and the steps below have a shadow under each one — which is how you see that they climb.
