Microbead embroidery is the most detailed technique in the catalogue. Preciosa size 13 microbeads measure about 1.6 mm against 2.3 mm for standard beads, so roughly twice as many fit into the same area and the image comes close to painting. This section holds the large formats: from 140×200 to 420×300 mm.

What to add

The finer needle is in the kit, but a neutral-temperature lamp to the side is not a luxury here: small beads need even light. From 300 mm upwards the canvas is better held on a hoop or frame.
