Collar and necklace kits are the largest pieces of jewellery in the catalogue. Formats are 250×270, 202×152 and 202×115 mm, with up to 10,000 beads and 15–24 colours. Each is bead embroidery on artist canvas with the full-colour design printed on it, supplied with the findings for finishing.

What to know before buying

  • This is not an evening project. A fully covered 250×270 mm collar takes 25–45 hours.
  • Difficulty. Four kits are rated medium and three advanced. The reason is coverage density and the number of shades, not the stitch itself.
  • Finishing is part of the work. The edge is worked, the back is closed, and the tie or clasp is in the box.

Questions and answers

Is the tie or clasp included?

Yes, the findings come with the kit: depending on the model that is a velvet ribbon, a clasp or a chain.

Is it suitable for a beginner?

Better to start with a bracelet: the same technique but 1,400 beads instead of 9,000.

How do I care for a collar?

Do not wash it. Clean locally with a damp cloth and store it flat, never folded along the pattern.

What do you wear it with?

A collar ties over a dress, a shirt or a jumper and works as the single accent of an outfit.
