Rushnyk and table runner kits are the largest items in the catalogue: from 950×330 mm up to a 330×2200 mm runner. The base is a single piece of 16 count fabric, already cut to size with finished edges, so you can stitch anywhere on it rather than only inside preset panels.

What to keep in mind

• Grid lines are essential. Over a metre of fabric any drift shows at once, so tack a 10×10 grid in contrasting thread.
• Fringe to taste. Solid fabric lets you pull threads along the edges to whatever depth you like.
• 16 count. Finer than the usual 14, giving a crisper design but asking for good light.

60–120 hours depending on the density of the design and the colour count, which ranges from 2 to 44 shades in this series.

Can I stitch my own chart on it?

Yes, that is the advantage of solid fabric: the stitching area is not limited by a panel.

How do I make the fringe?

Pull threads out along the edges to the depth you want: 5 mm gives a restrained edge, 15 mm the expressive traditional look.

How do I wash the finished piece?

By hand in warm water with a mild detergent, dried flat and pressed from the back through a cloth.
