Description

“We are going to celebrate” shows a red retro car carrying a decorated Christmas tree on its roof along a snowy street. The mood is festive and a little busy.

What the picture shows

The car sits in the lower third of the design, seen in profile: rounded wings, chrome hubcaps, a red body with white highlights. A green fir tree with red and gold baubles and a yellow star on top is firmly tied to the roof. On both sides is an old town street: pale pink and grey facades, dark bare trees, a street lamp and two snow-dusted firs. The snow below is stitched in white and grey-blue, and the sky is light. The fabric is stitched completely, with no bare areas left. Every bauble on the tree is visible separately, and the branches are stitched in different greens — dark near the trunk, light at the tips. Warm light burns in the windows of the houses, wheel tracks are left in the snow, and smoke rises above the roofs.
