Cross Stitch Kit "The Tree of Forest Tales"
Description
“The Tree of Forest Tales” is a symmetrical folk-style forest panel: a spreading tree, birds on its branches and two foxes by the trunk.
What the picture shows
The design is mirror-symmetrical. A brown tree grows in the centre, its dense green crown hiding ginger and blue-grey birds, large pink and red blooms, small hearts and diamonds. Two ginger foxes with white chests and bushy tails sit on either side of the trunk, a red rosette flower between them. The black canvas stays as the background — it is what makes the greens and the warm ginger glow. A wreath of leaves, twigs and tiny flowers closes the composition in a circle. The small details — the foxes’ eyes, the flower centres, the dots on the twigs — are worked as single stitches. There are 28 thread colours and 69 m of thread, so the palette is rich without being overwhelming.
