What the picture shows

Tall houses stand along the street — blue and red, with white snow-covered roofs and yellow lit windows. Street lamps, fences and bushes with red berries fill the gaps between them, and grey snowy mountains rise behind. The sky stays black, scattered with white snowflakes of different sizes stitched straight onto the canvas, which makes them look real. The vertical format stretches the composition upwards. The windows and lamps are the brightest points of the design, worked in yellow and warm ochre just two or three stitches at a time. The kit holds 28 thread colours and 81 m of cotton.
