Description

“The Easter Miracle” sets a spring landscape inside the shape of an Easter egg.

What the picture shows

Within the oval you see a field, a cottage under a dark roof, trees and hills, with a light pink and blue sky above them. Willow branches with grey catkins, yellow daffodils, white and violet primroses and green grass frame the picture. Three painted eggs lie at the bottom: a white one with a floral design, a green one and a patterned pink one. The white count 18 canvas outside the oval is left unstitched. The sky and field inside the oval are worked in smooth blends, while the willow branches and painted eggs are fine detail around the edge. The kit holds 44 thread colours and 110 m of cotton.
