Description

“The Center of the Universe” — a tree with spreading crown and roots in a circle, built from every colour in the kit.

What the picture shows

The trunk divides in two: the crown rises above and the roots spread in mirror image below, together closing an almost perfect circle. The crown is made of dense patches — emerald, turquoise, lemon, crimson and violet — with light showing between them. The roots are worked in warmer tones: ochre, copper, terracotta. The trunk is dark and winding, with clear bark texture. Small leaves fly off around the tree, and the colour runs down in short drips below. Forty-seven thread colours across 174 m — the richest palette in this batch. The fabric outside the circle is left plain. The crown and the roots are about equal in mass, and the circle is built on that balance. Leaves outside the crown fly in different directions and open the circle up.
