What the picture shows

A small house with a red roof and white walls stands in the centre, with bushes in pink and crimson bloom on either side and taller trees in fresh green behind. A pale path leads down through small flowers, and a strip of white fence shows on the left. The greenery is taken in several states, from bright green in the sun to deep emerald in the shade, and those transitions use most of the thirty-six thread colours. The sky is pale, almost bleached, so it does not compete with the blossom. The blossom is laid in dense small patches with no outlining, which is what makes the bushes look fluffy. The red roof is the only saturated patch; all the other colours are muted and spring-pale. The path leads the eye to the doorstep.
