Cross Stitch Kit "Sing for us, little bird!"
Description
“Sing for us, little bird!” shows a fairy-tale house with a blue roof among large stylised flowers. A small ginger bird sits on the roof.
What the picture shows
The house stands in the centre: cream walls with tiny stars, a round door and a circular window, the roof laid in blue scales with white dots. Tulips, poppies and daisies in peach, coral and terracotta grow on both sides on tall stems; the leaves are blue-green with clear outlines. The drawing is flat, without light and shade, so the shapes read from a distance. The white fabric stays as background and is not stitched — which is why the composition looks light despite the rich colours. There are 21 thread colours. Every scale on the roof is visible separately, and small rays and dots are scattered unevenly on the walls. The bird is small but stitched in several colours: a ginger breast, a brown back, a dark eye. The flower stems bend, and no two bend the same way.
