Description

“Secret wish” shows two giant dandelion clocks with seeds torn loose by the wind. The design is built on turquoise and pink.

What the picture shows

On the right stands a large spherical head with a fine net pattern; on the left a second one, already half blown away. Parachute seeds fly off to the left in a long trail, each drawn separately. The stems are dark green and thin. The background is far from plain: splashes and runs of turquoise, pink, lemon and grass green spread across it, translucent in places. Cross stitch runs solidly, and beads pick out some of the flying seeds. The net pattern on the dandelion head is worked as separate light stitches over a darker base. The seeds scatter unevenly: denser near the head and thinner towards the left edge, where only single stitches remain.
