Description

“Recipe for love” shows a heart-shaped bottle with red liquid surrounded by ingredients. The design is styled as a page from an old herbalist’s book.

What the picture shows

In the centre stands a glass heart with a cork and a paper label reading LOVE POTION; the liquid inside is bright red, with highlights on the glass. On the left is a tall clear bottle with a cork, and below it a small vial with pink contents. Ingredients are laid out around: an anatomical heart above, a white lily, a rose sprig with a bud, a root, green leaves and a small red heart. At the bottom right are the word Love and several lines of handwritten text. The coffee fabric stays as background and works as old paper, with a narrow dark border around the edge. The glass of the bottle is conveyed by pale vertical highlights, with the darker contents showing through. The corks have a woody texture, the label has torn edges, and the handwritten lines below are worked in a single thin thread and read as texture rather than as text.
