Description

A black cat in a witch’s hat with a raven beside it: “Magic shadows” is built like a watercolour poster.

What the picture shows

The cat looks straight at you with yellow eyes, its long fur worked in several shades of black and blue. The hat has a buckle and a crumpled brim, and a raven with an open beak sits at its shoulder. The background is a violet and lilac circle with a pale moon that runs downwards in drips, like paint. Small symbols and droplets are scattered below, and some accents are worked in PRECIOSA beads. The white canvas around the circle stays clean. The cat’s fur is worked in long rows of stitches in several shades, while the drips of the background are laid as blurred patches. The kit holds 30 thread colours and 82 m of cotton.
