Description

“Lavender fields” is a Provence village above rows of lavender, set into the shape of a maple leaf. The leaf frame comes with the kit.

What the picture shows

Rows of lavender fill the lower two thirds, converging towards the horizon: broad bands of lilac, violet and ashy pink alternate with ochre paths between the bushes. Stone houses with tiled roofs and white walls stand above, with dark cypresses and rounded crowns between them. A tower with a pointed roof shows at the very tip of the leaf. The sky is light, peach and blue. Unlike the other two leaf designs in the series, here the cloth is stitched solidly, from edge to edge of the opening. Forty shades. The lavender rows narrow towards the horizon, and that perspective makes a small leaf look like a large picture.
