Description

“Kingdom in the Sky” is a fairy-tale castle standing right on the clouds.

What the picture shows

The castle is worked in pale grey-lilac shades: several towers with sharp spires, walls with arched windows, a bridge and the rock beneath. Clouds spread around it — pink, lilac and blue, with a yellow break of light above — laid in soft patches like a watercolour wash. Towards the edges the design lightens and gives way to bare white canvas. Small PRECIOSA beads add points of light on the spires. The clouds take up most of the area and are stitched in large soft zones, while the towers are small precise stitches. The thread length is 54 m.
