Description
“Inner Peace” shows a lake, a wooden jetty and a figure looking towards the mountains.
What the picture shows
The design is stitched on blue canvas, and its colour holds the whole scene together. A wooden jetty runs out into the water from the front edge with a small dark figure standing on it and a boat rocking alongside. Tall trees rise on either side — blue, dark green and red, stylised like an engraving. Mountains climb in the distance and a large yellow-orange sun hangs above them. The water is given in horizontal bands. The trees are worked as silhouettes without fine detail, and the sun as an even disc of warm yellow. The thread length is 148 m.
