Description

“I am feeling a holiday” shows a dachshund in a Santa hat and a checked coat, with an endless knitted scarf flying overhead. The holiday is almost here.

What the picture shows

The long dog stretches across the whole horizontal format: a brown-and-beige checked coat with a knitted texture, a red hat with a white pompom, a black nose. A striped scarf made of dozens of coloured bands — red, green, cherry, white — rises above his back in a wave. Parcels with bows, a candy cane, a star-topped block and a sprig of holly lie around him, while pale blue snowflakes and two little birds fill the background. The canvas is covered fully in cross stitch, and beads add sparkle to the snowflakes and trims. The scarf is the longest element: it runs from the dog's tail and curves over his back to the very top.
