“Furry rascal” is a ginger kitten reaching up for a Christmas bauble.

What the picture shows

The kitten has risen on its hind legs against a pale drape and has almost caught the patterned red ball swinging on its ribbon. The striped ginger fur is worked in several shades, the whiskers and brows in fine stitches. Fir branches with red berries and cones hang from above, and the background is a blurred grey-blue. The coffee canvas gives the whole scene a warm tone. The fur is worked in short rows of several ginger shades, and the bauble in red with a white pattern and a pale highlight.
