Description

“Easter bunny” is a pair of pink ears sticking out of a turquoise cup wound about with willow. The smallest design in this batch.

What the picture shows

The cup stands at the centre: a wide turquoise-blue body with a thin white pattern, a curved handle and a saucer of the same colour beneath. Two long rabbit ears rise out of it, pale pink inside and cream outside. A willow branch with grey catkins is wound around the cup, and small pink flowers and green leaves open at the sides. The light blue tone of the cloth supports the cool part of the palette. Twenty-eight colours over thirty-three metres of floss make this the lowest thread use in the batch. The pattern on the side of the cup is worked in white over the turquoise and reads as fine lace.
