Description

“Easter” is a wreath of painted eggs and lilac crocuses with the words Happy Easter inside it. A square design on light yellow cloth.

What the picture shows

The wreath is closed and built by alternation: pink, turquoise and yellow eggs with fine geometric patterning, and between them open lilac crocuses with long petals and narrow green leaves. The wreath is tied and slightly wider at the bottom, with a gap left at the top. Inside, in two lines of turquoise thread with a metallic sheen, runs the English greeting. The light honey ground is almost free of colour, so the wreath reads at once. Twenty-seven shades over fifty-three metres of floss at a simple level. Eggs and crocuses alternate around the circle at an even interval, so the wreath looks ordered and calm.
