Description

“Domestic ghost” is a household scene with a sense of humour: a ghost takes a bubble bath while the cat waits nearby.

What the picture shows

An old claw-foot bathtub full of white foam stands in the centre, with a sheet ghost and its big dark eyes peering out of it. A yellow rubber duck floats alongside and a grey tabby cat sits on the rim, watching. The wall behind is dark turquoise with a fine pattern and two pictures in gilded frames worked in metallic thread. Small foam bubbles drift across the whole picture. The foam is made of dozens of small pale patches in different shades, and it is what takes the most time. The kit holds 34 thread colours and 128 m of cotton.
