Description

“Colored town-3” shows a corner house stitched in colour inside a town that is only sketched.

What the picture shows

The house is brick red, with a tall tiled roof, dormer windows and frames painted green and yellow; blue and yellow panes glow in the windows. In front of it a stone bridge with railings crosses a canal, and two boxes of red flowers stand on the railings. A black lamp post rises on the left and a round red road sign on the right. The neighbouring houses, the water and the cobbles are only drawn in a thin grey-brown outline on the white canvas, which is left unstitched.
