Cross Stitch Kit "Color magic"
Description
“Color magic” — a dragonfly, a butterfly and a bee gathering around a sunny circle as if on a watercolour sheet.
What the picture shows
The composition is round and half-transparent. A large dragonfly with turquoise-green wings sits on the left, a smaller pink butterfly on the right, and a yellow sun with a soft edge between them. A white lily, dandelions and small bubbles close the ring below and gradually melt into the plain fabric. The colours are diluted like watercolour — mint, lemon, warm pink, pale lilac — and the thirty-eight thread shades work precisely on the transitions between them. There are almost no outlines; the shapes are held by patches of colour. The dragonfly’s wings are transparent: the background shows through them, which is why they are worked in the palest threads in the kit. Outside the circle the fabric is left plain, so the whole composition looks light, almost weightless.
