Description

“Christmas gingerbread” is a large gingerbread heart holding a whole winter scene.

What the picture shows

The edge of the heart is piped with wavy pink-red icing, with a band of green and white strokes below it. Inside stands a gingerbread house with a candy swirl on the roof, a heart on the door and yellow windows. The left half of the sky is daytime, with a yellow sun and clouds; the right half is night, blue, with a crescent moon and yellow stars. Lollipop trees grow on either side, a path of coloured sweets leads to the door, and a sprig of holly with berries sits at the bottom. The green canvas around is left unstitched.
