Description

“Catch the spring!” is a dreamcatcher where flowers open here and there among the feathers. An elongated vertical design with a long tail.

What the picture shows

At the top a ring is wound with pink roses, small blue flowers and green leaves. Inside it sits a turquoise web with a dark eye at the centre. Feathers fall below — cream, russet, blue and turquoise, with clear barbs and beads strung on cords; the longest reaches almost to the bottom edge. A small blue butterfly perches on the left. The palette is warm and cool at once, pink against turquoise on a light ground. Cross stitch is solid, and beads pick out the strung beads and the centre of the web. The feathers differ in length and angle; each has a pale shaft with darker barbs at the sides.
