Description

“Cat house” is a treehouse whose crown is divided into four seasons, with a black cat on a swing beneath it.

What the picture shows

The house sits in the fork of the trunk: plank walls, a door with a window, a porch with railings, a tiled roof and a rooster weathervane. The crown splits into four sectors — red-orange autumn, lush green summer, turquoise-blue winter and pink spring blossom. Birdhouses of different shapes and a swing hang from the branches on cords, and a black cat sits on the swing. A ladder leads down, with grass and small flowers under the trunk. The work is solid, the canvas fully covered, and beads add shine to the details. Each sector of the crown has its own palette, and the borders between seasons run right through the branches.
