Description

“Birdie-2” is a pink-and-green panel, a pair to “Birdie-1” but quite different in mood.

What the picture shows

Here the bird is pink, with a yellow, blue and green wing and a long striped tail; it sits on a stem and looks upwards. Large stylised flowers open around it — pink and lilac, their centres filled with different patterns: netting, crosses, small dots. The leaves are large and lime green, also divided into cells and hatching. A thin green border runs along the edge and the stem ends curl into spirals. The white canvas between the elements is left unstitched.
