Description

“Birdie-1” is a decorative panel in blue and yellow with a bird in the middle.

What the picture shows

The bird sits on a curved ochre stem with its head turned to one side. Its back and wings are deep blue with rows of scales, its breast and crest golden yellow, and its long tail falls almost to the lower edge. Stylised flowers are placed symmetrically around it: yellow six-petal blooms with dark centres above and below, blue ones at the sides. Thin stems with small blue leaves wind between them. A dotted blue border frames the design, and the white canvas inside is left unstitched.
