Cross Stitch Kit "Beekeeper"
Description
“Beekeeper” — a gnome in a striped bee cap sits on a sunflower while bees circle nearby.
What the picture shows
The gnome is built from a few simple shapes: a yellow-and-black striped cap with small antennae, a large white beard falling onto the petals, and a round belly in the same stripes. The face is not visible at all — the cap and the beard cover it, and that is the whole joke. The gnome sits in the heart of a big sunflower with orange petals in fine shading, juicy green leaves and a curved stem. Two bees fly above and to the right, their wings transparent. Twenty-nine thread colours across 58 m. The light blue canvas stays open and works as the sky. The sunflower fills the lower half of the design, so the gnome sits roughly at its middle. The bees’ wings are left almost unstitched, with just an outline and a few pale stitches.
