Description

“Angels” shows two child angels in white standing in an open doorway with a snowy town beyond it.

What the picture shows

The angel in front is turned in profile: a long white gown, a golden band around the head, grey-white wings and a golden horn in the hand. The second stands a little further back with folded palms and a horn of its own. On the left there is a dark wooden door frame and the deep shadow of the room; through the doorway on the right you can see snowy roofs, a pale yellow sky and trees. The floor is light, with a rug of small pink flowers. The whole surface is stitched, including the dark interior and the snow outside.
