Description
“Christmas Anticipation” shows Santa with a sack over his shoulder walking through a snowy wood towards a fir tree.
What the picture shows
Green beads build the tree beside him and the sprig on his cap, red ones the cap itself and the sack, white ones the beard and the fur trim. The figure, the trees and the snow stay printed in warm ochre tones, so the piece recalls an old greetings card. A red rim around the circle closes the composition, with a white ribbon and bow on top. There are five bead colours in the kit and all of them go into accents: nothing is covered solid. The sack over his shoulder is marked with a few red beads along its outline.

Both parts are sewn together, the fiberfill goes inside and the ribbon is left as a loop. The ornament comes out soft and light, so it can safely hang on a thin branch. Kits like this are often chosen as a first introduction to bead embroidery: the pattern is printed on the canvas, so there are no squares to count. The greenery, cones, jingle bells and the knitted throw in the photo are styling props.
