Description

“Woodland Wonder” shows a toadstool cottage with a red, white-spotted roof standing in snowdrifts in a winter forest.

What the picture shows

The roof is worked in red beads and its spots in large white ones that stand out more than anything else in the piece. The walls stay printed, snow in matt white beads lies below, and green needles with small red berries rise on either side. The background is a printed winter landscape in lilac and blue tones. The circle is trimmed with a white rim and hangs on a white ribbon. The second part of the work uses the same base with another toadstool cottage, lower and wider.

The pattern is in colour, printed straight on the canvas. The fir branches, guelder rose, cones and cinnamon stick in the photo are styling props. The white spots on the roof use large beads, so they stand out noticeably.
