Description

“Christmas glow” is a large tree bauble with a poinsettia, framed in fir and red berries.

What the picture shows

The bauble hangs from a golden loop in the centre: its body is worked in blue-grey and steel beads with golden scrolls and fine dots. A pink poinsettia with an ochre heart opens on the front, and from it fir and yew branches with a few pointed leaves spread out on both sides. Red berries and small white specks are scattered through the greenery. The pale mint ground is even; it stays printed and adds a wintry chill. The needles are beaded in short slanting rows in three shades of green, so the branches never merge into one mass.
