Description
“Floral mood” is a summer bouquet in a clear vase tied with a pink ribbon.
What the picture shows
The bouquet gathers pink roses, white daisies, cosmos, small blue bellflowers and sprigs of buds, with leaves and grasses spreading in every direction. The glass vase is worked in pale grey and blue shades with the stems visible through it, and a pink bow is tied at its neck. A few blooms lie on the table beside it and a yellow butterfly flits in at the upper left. The white canvas stays as the background and keeps the bouquet light. The rose petals are worked in three or four pinks and the daisies in white with yellow centres. The kit holds 36 thread colours and 76 m of cotton.
