What the picture shows
The figure is seen from behind: a wide hat with a dark ribbon covers her head, a long plait falls from under it, and her dress is light blue with a large bow at the back. She holds a bunch of white daisies with yellow centres and green leaves, a few blooms peeking out at the side. The white canvas is barely stitched over — only a light shadow is marked under her feet. Twenty floss colours over 30 m, with many soft blue half-tones. The weave of the hat is conveyed by alternating two beige shades every other row — a small but visible detail.
