Description
“Enchantress” shows a dark-haired witch in a pointed hat bending over an open book of spells.
What the picture shows
The hat is worked in pink and dark beads with a beaded band along its edge, the hair in black beads falling in two strands, the book in pale beads with blue specks. Yellow candles and pink flowers glow on either side. The face stays printed, so the expression reads clearly. The circle is trimmed with silver-grey beads. The second part of the work is a pale base with a black hat, a broom and a blue book. The candles beside the book are marked with yellow beads.

The two pieces are sewn together with the padding inside and hung on a grey ribbon. The ornament is small, so it often ends up on a mirror or a branch in an autumn bouquet. The kraft paper, the old engraving and the bare twigs in the photo are styling props. The hair is worked as two long strands of black beads — the most noticeable texture in the piece. The pattern is in colour, printed straight on the canvas, with no squares to count.
