Talisman Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "Prayer for health (Russian text)"

“Prayer for health” is built around the image of Saint Panteleimon the Healer.

What the picture shows

The young saint stands in a crimson cloak over a green tunic. His right hand holds a slender spoon, his left an open medicine box. The halo carries a fine ornament, the ground is ochre-yellow with plant scrollwork, and an inscription runs across the top. The printed icon is not beaded — the work goes into the border: red beads fill the field, yellow beads form a cross at the top and bottom, and groups of four white beads make small flowers in the corners. A gold line runs around the edge. The prayer on the back of the banner is printed in Russian, while the version with a Ukrainian text is issued under a separate article number. The medicine box and the spoon are the marks by which this saint is recognised, and they show clearly even on a small icon.
