“Totoro” is a large grey forest character with an umbrella and a leaf on its head.

What the picture shows

The figure sits facing you and fills almost the whole dark board. The belly and face are wound in pale grey and white thread, the back and the top of the head in dark grey, so the silhouette splits into two parts. The eyes are large and round, and two Preciosa No. 6 beads set at their centres add shine and bring the gaze to life. Thin whiskers spread from the muzzle and a green leaf lies on the head. In one paw the character holds an open umbrella wound in white and pale blue thread with clear ribs. There are seven thread colours, 81 m in all.
