“Аt the foot of the mountain” shows peaks, a forest and a tent in the valley.

What the picture shows

The composition is built in tiers. Sharp peaks stand at the top, wound in blue and white thread, with more white on the slopes so that snow reads clearly. Below runs a dark green band of firs — each tree a triangle, all of them standing in a close row. An orange and yellow tent glows in the valley, the brightest patch in the whole piece; an LED garland is laid beside it, so in the evening it looks lit from inside. The foreground is brown and darker — the slope the viewer is standing on. There are eight thread colours, 73 m in all.
