“Pumpkin” is a carved jack-o’-lantern in a witch’s hat, with a spider and a web.

What the picture shows

The pumpkin fills the lower two thirds of the dark board: it is wound in orange thread in lobes of varying density, while the eyes, nose and grinning mouth are left empty, and the garland placed inside shines through them. A pointed black hat with a yellow buckle on its band sits on top. A web is stretched in white thread in the upper left corner, and a small black spider hangs in the right one — its eyes are the two glass beads from the kit. There are six thread colours, 87 m in all.

The threads are wound one colour after another, exactly as the chart shows. The image comes out of the crossings of the thread, so how dense the lines look depends on how many times you pass between the nails.
