“Lantern” is a kerosene lantern with a warm flame inside.

What the picture shows

The lantern stands in the centre of the dark board, with an arched handle on top. The body is wound in black thread, and rows of pale nails with small white dots run across it, reading as highlights on metal. The top and bottom of the lantern are banded in red, the single bright note in the structure. A flame is wound inside the glass section — orange at the edge and yellow in the middle — and an LED garland is laid there too, so in the evening the lantern really does glow. There are six thread colours, and the shortest length in the batch at 22 m.
