Description

“St. Valery” is a young beardless martyr in a blue cloak. Blue, red and gold ornament at the chest.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown to the waist, with dark curls to his shoulders. A blue cloak falls from his left shoulder as a wide mass, and a red tunic with gold ornament worked in amber beads shows at his chest beneath it. His right hand, lowered to the waist, holds a small gold cross. The halo is a ring of amber beads and the ground is golden rays with red dots at the top. The beading takes the clothing, the halo and the plaque frame, while the face and the hand remain printed, and the radiance stays print as well.
