“St. Valery” is a martyr in a crown, in blue robes scattered with gold crosses. Blue and red over golden rays.

What the picture shows

The saint stands frontally in a low crown of pale blue and white beads with red inserts. Her outer robe is blue, scattered with a fine pattern of gold crosses, and a red cloak lies over it, falling from her right shoulder and covering the arm. Her left hand is lowered. The halo is a ring of amber beads and the ground is golden rays. A plaque in a gold frame finishes the image at the bottom, and the corners on either side are filled with fine red-and-gold ornament. The crown, the robe, the ring of the halo and the border are beaded; the face, the hands and the gold ground are left to the print.
