Description

“St. Tamara” is an empress in a red crown with a long white veil and a cross. Green, red and pearl white together.

What the picture shows

The saint stands frontally in a tall red crown set with beaded stones. A long white veil worked in pearl beads falls from under it and lies over her shoulders in wide bands. The clothing combines green and red with a gold edging. Her raised right hand holds a dark cross, her left a sceptre. The halo is amber and the ground is golden rays. A gold border runs along the whole edge, and the lower part of the image is taken up by a name plaque between two ornaments. Beads cover the crown, the robes, the halo and the border, the face and hands stay printed, and gold print shows between the bead rows on the ground.
