Description

“St. Raisa” is a martyr in a deep blue veil with crossed hands. Blue over soft pink.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown to the waist, her head bowed and her gaze lowered. The veil and mantle are worked in saturated blue beads in several tones, so the cloth reads as soft folds. A soft pink band of the underdress shows at her chest from under the mantle. Both hands are folded across her chest. The halo is a narrow ring of amber beads and the ground is golden rays. The beading takes the clothing, the halo and the plaque frame, while the face and hands remain printed, and the radiance stays print as well.
