Mini Icon Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "St. Peter"

“St. Peter” is an apostle with a gold key in his hand. Red and green over a broad spread of golden rays.

What the picture shows

The apostle is shown to the waist: curly dark blond hair and a short beard. A dark red cloak shot with russet lies over a green-and-gold tunic worked in fine beads in several rows. His right hand is raised in blessing, his left holds a gold key, Peter's chief attribute. The halo is worked in two rings of amber beads, and the ground is dense golden radiance picked up here and there by single beads. A pale name plaque closes the composition at the bottom between two ornamental squares, and a narrow gold border runs round the edge. The clothing, the halo and the border are beaded; the face, the hands and the golden rays stay printed on the canvas.

The canvas is cut with a margin on all sides so the finished piece is easy to stretch.
