Description

“St. Nazariy” is a mini icon of the martyr in a patterned red robe. Format 100×150 mm; eight colours make this one of the simplest kits in the batch.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown as a young man with chestnut hair and a short beard. His robe is red, but not plain: a fine dark grid runs across it, so the cloth reads as patterned brocade. A dark cross on a long shaft lies diagonally across his chest, steadied in both hands. On the left a green band shows from under the cloak — the only cool patch in the whole image. The halo is gathered from amber rings, and the golden rays behind stay as print on the art canvas. A three-line cartouche runs below, the second name given in brackets.
