Description

“St. Ludmila” is a princess in a gold crown holding a cross in both hands. A lilac-violet mantle over red robes.

What the picture shows

The saint stands frontally in a tall gold crown set with red stones. A white pearl veil trimmed with tiny pale beads falls from under the crown. A wide lilac-violet mantle covers her shoulders, with red clothing edged in pearls beneath it. Both hands hold a gold cross at her chest. The halo is amber and the ground is golden rays. The canvas is edged with a narrow gold band with red accents at the corners; a rectangular name plaque takes up the lower part. Beads cover the robes, the crown, the halo and the border, the face and hands stay printed, and gold print shows between the bead rows on the ground.
