Mini Icon Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "St. Denis"

“St. Denis” is a monk in a black klobuk holding a model church. The most graphic image in the batch — black against white.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown to the waist, with a long white beard and a black klobuk falling onto his shoulders. The mantle is black too, worked in dark beads with faint grey glints, so the figure reads as a silhouette. In his hands he holds a small white church with a red roof and a golden dome. The halo is amber and the ground is golden rays, which sound especially bright against the black. At the bottom there is a pale plaque set in a gold frame, with two squares of red-and-gold bead ornament on either side of it. The clothing, the ring of the halo and the border are beaded; the face, the hands and the gold ground are left to the print.
